A man is facing seven charges following an incident early Sunday at a downtown Nelson night club.
Staff called police, reporting the man was refusing to leave the bar. Officers responded and told him to leave the property. However, within 40 minutes the club called again reporting the man had threatened him.
Police arrested him for allegedly uttering death threats. He has since also been charged with failing to comply with a probation order, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, and obstructing a police officer.
He was held in custody pending a court appearance in Rossland today.
