Dylan Marshall made 24 saves for the shut out as the Leafs beat the Kimberley Dynamiters 2-0 in Nelson on Saturday.

The victory ties the Kootenay Conference finals at two. Kimberley hosts Game 4 on Monday, followed by Game 6 in Nelson on Tuesday. Game 7, if necessary, will be back in Kimberley on Wednesday.

Nelson’s Bryce Sookro scored just 52 seconds into the game on a shot from centre ice, and Drake Procter added one more in the second period.

Procter played just one game in the regular season for the Leafs, and was called back up to Nelson for the series against the Dynamiters.

Kimberley goaltender Trystan Self stopped 21 shots in the loss.

The winner of the series will play the Revelstoke Grizzlies, who swept the Okanagan-Shuswap Conference finals Saturday with a 3-2 win over the Osoyoos Coyotes.
