Candidates in Nelson’s March 27 city council by-election must submit a nomination package between Feb. 9 and Feb. 19 at 4 p.m.
Packages can be obtained online at http://www.nelson.ca/735/2021-By-Election, by email request to elections@nelson.ca, or by picking up a package from city hall, 310 Ward St., second floor.
The purpose of the by-election is to replace Nelson former councillor Brittny Anderson, who was elected in October to the provincial government as the MLA for Nelson-Creston.
Anderson resigned from council on Dec. 14.
