Fire departments from as far away as Elkford gathered for a special training session at Mt. St. Francis in Nelson Wednesday where training officers from New York, Pennsylvania and Washington came to instruct career and volunteer firefighters in the area on firefighter extrication while keeping fire suppression and victim rescue under control.
