The boil water advisory will remain in effect until Saturday afternoon at the earliest.
The City of Nelson released an update Friday afternoon that said a sample had come back clean, but that a second sample was needed after the water system was flushed. The results won’t be known until Saturday.
The notice was issued Thursday after one colony-forming unit of fecal coliform bacteria was found in a sample.
