Hundreds of students took part in 'Get Connected' day at Selkirk College's Tenth Street Campus in Nelson on Wednesday.

The courtyard outside Mary Hall was packed with new and returning Selkirk College students on Wednesday as the Nelson campus hosted its annual Get Connected day. Hundreds of students enjoyed a barbecue lunch, live music and competitions like the "beer goggle trike race" (pictured bottom right) and "junk in the trunk" (pictured bottom left). It was also an opportunity for the college president and student union president to officially welcome students to their fall semester, which got underway Tuesday.
