Nelson service providers connect with homeless

From acupuncture to foot and dental care, Nelson service providers offered their time as part of Community Connect Day.

There were warm blankets, mitts, toques, pizza, soup and coffee along with various services from local providers at this year’s Community Connect Day.

Hair cuts were among the most popular services at Central School on Saturday.

Local nurses, dentists and art therapists were also on hand to work with members of the homeless community.
