The Kootenay Lake school district has hired Kim Morris as its new secretary-treasurer.
She currently holds the same job in the neighbouring Kootenay-Columbia district, where she has worked since 2009.
She was previously secretary-treasurer in Prince Rupert, although she originally hails from the Kootenays.
Morris starts December 1.
She replaces Monica Schulte, who left at the end of August to assume the same role in Saanich.
In the meantime, superintendent Jeff Jones is holding down both roles.
