A lifetime of caring for wildlife was recognized Friday as Helen Jameson accepted her Citizen of the Year honours.
Jameson was feted at a banquet held at St. Joseph's School, which was hosted by Bob Hall and featured speakers such as Nelson-Creston MLA Michelle Mungall and city councillor Robin Cherbo as well as last year's winner Susanne Raschdorf.
