On October 11, 2022 Salmo RCMP members responded to a report of a serious assault that occurred on the rails to trails path off of Hwy 6 near Ymir, according to a news release.
A man was beaten by another man and was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The RCMP news release states that this matter is still under investigation and they are reaching out to the public in hopes that someone will come forward who either witnessed this assault or knows who the suspect may be.
