Rainbow crosswalk appears in Nelson

A day after heavy rains, a new type of rainbow appeared in Nelson just in time for the Pride Parade.

As the community of Nelson gets ready for the 19th annual Pride parade, the first rainbow crosswalk in Nelson appeared at Stanley and Victoria St. with the help of Nelson Police Department.

The Pride parade begins at Central school at 3 p.m. and travels through downtown to Baker and Hall St.
