Kalein Hospice Centre volunteers Senna Andison and Amber Santos — who is also the lead artist on the project — were busy Wednesday morning creating an interactive, public art installation on the side of the old Extra Foods building.

A section of the wall was covered with blackboard paint where passersby can complete the statement “Before I die I want to ____.”

The installation, which will remain in place at least until the end of the summer, is meant to encourage people to reflect on their life and what’s important to them.
