Riondel man killed in crash

An East Shore man has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash near Yahk this week. He is Rudi Lauritzen, 64, of Riondel.

The BC Coroners Service says the victim of this week's crash near Yahk was Rudi Lauritzen.

An East Shore man has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash near Yahk this week. The BC Corners service says he is Rudi Lauritzen, 64, of Riondel.

He was the driver of a westbound car which was involved in a collision with an eastbound tractor-trailer unit on Highway 3/95 near Irishman’s Creek at about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Lauritzen died at the scene.

The Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate.
