A serious accident has reduced Highway 3A west at Shoreacres to single lane, alternating traffic.
Nelson RCMP say that just after 3 p.m. Tuesday an SUV and a motorcycle were involved in a crash which the driver of the motorcycle suffered "significant injuries." Police say details are still limited.
The accident occurred just east of Glade Road. Police say motorists can expect delays between Nelson and Castlegar until 7 p.m. Tuesday while police conduct an investigation.
