Property damage was the likely motive of an incident at Granite Road Park and Ride Friday.

RCMP reports that between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. on January 3, someone smashed the windows out of two vehicles parked at the ride share parking lot just outside of Nelson.

“It does not appear that anything was taken from the vehicles, and that the motive was purely for property damage,” says Cst. Colleen Lowing in a press release.

The Nelson RCMP are requesting that anyone with any information regarding this mischief to vehicles please contact the Nelson RCMP at 250-352-2156 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS)
