A Kamloops jury has convicted Neil Snelson of manslaughter in the death of L.V. Rogers graduate Jennifer Cusworth.

It’s the second time the Kelowna man has been been found guilty of the crime. Cusworth, 19, was found in a ditch a day after she was seen at a house party in 1993.

Snelson was charged with first degree murder, but found guilty of manslaughter in 2011 and sentenced to 15 years in prison.

He successfully appealed the verdict and a new trial was ordered.
