Work on The Tall Man, which was filmed in Nelson, Ymir, Salmo, and other locations over the summer and fall, is concluding at the Canada-Saskatchewan Production Studio and in and around Regina.

The movie, set in the town of Cold Rock, stars Biel as a woman looking for answers after a series of children go missing — supposedly snatched by a mysterious figure known as the Tall Man.

Directed by Pascale Laugier, and also starring William B. Davis and Jodelle Ferland, the film used local talent including Lucas Myers and Pat Henman.

Producers indicated they were hoping for a fall release.
