A serious vehicle incident closed Highway 3A for more than four hours Saturday.

The two-vehicle head-on collision took place between Brilliant Powerplant Road and Lookout Road Saturday afternoon.

Tarrys fire chief Greg Patterson says the Tarrys Fire Department, RCMP and BC Ambulance Service all responded to the scene.

There was a total of three occupants in the vehicles, but there is no word yet on injuries.

It has only been a little over a month since a woman died in a two-vehicle collision near the same location.

More to come …
