Andrea Moore has been reported missing.

UPDATE: Missing Slocan Lake woman found

The New Denver RCMP have found Andrea Moore, who went missing earlier this week.

The RCMP are happy to announce that Andrea Moore has been located.

Moore, who was the subject of a missing person investigation,  arrived at a residence approximately four kilometres away from the location of her abandoned vehicle.

Police say she appeared disoriented and has been transported to hospital in Nelson for observation.

The police have not had an opportunity to interview her to ascertain exactly what happened.

The RCMP would like to thank all the volunteers who participated in the search and for the media coverage this has generated.

Moore, also known as Andromeda Moore, was reported missing by her husband on Thursday.

The vehicle she was driving was located on Perry Ridge Road abandoned. An aerial and ground search conducted by Nelson Search and Rescue along with the RCMP helicopter proved unsuccessful in locating Moore.

The search continued today with the assistance of Castlegar Search and Rescue, police service dog and the helicopter.

She was located at 2:45 p.m. Friday May 23.
