A missing Harrop teen has been located.
The Nelson detachment of the Central Kootenay RCMP issued a release stating that Jonathan Hartman was located on July 9 at about 5:30 p.m. and has been safely returned to his home and family. The RCMP said they wanted to thank the numerous concerned citizens who called in to try to assist the police in locating the missing teen.
Hartman left his residence in Harrop on Sunday morning after an argument and did not return. It was suspected he may still be in the Nelson area.
The RCMP sought the public's assistance in locating the 14-year-old, who was described as 5'10", 120 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
Hartman had left home previously but had not remained away for this length of time.
