UPDATED: Search for missing Salmo hunter concludes

Travis Rina of Salmo did not tell his wife the exact location he planned to hunt, RCMP requested assistance.

Salmo RCMP have notified the public that missing Salmo hunter Travis Rina has been found safe near Rosebud Lake.

“Mr. Rinas contacted his wife by cell phone a short time ago advising her had a flat tire last night, spent the night in his truck and walked out this morning gaining cell coverage. He was not injured and in good physical condition,” wrote St. Darryl Little in a press release.
