More than 300 women (and a few men) turned out to see Wendy Mesley, anchor of CBC Television’s The National news program, speak at the second annual Find Your Divine gala at Mary Hall on Wednesday night. The event, organized by the Nelson Star, also showcased Nelson shops and services with more than 25 businesses offering draws and giveaways before the talk. The MC for the evening was local funny man Lucas Myers.
