The West Kootenay Toy Run Association has their annual poker run on Saturday, June 17 leaving Castlegar A&W at 10 a.m.

The ride goes to Kaslo, New Denver then loops back to the Castlegar area.

From the pot of funds raised, 40 per cent goes to the winner and 60 per cent is donated to the food bank.

“Let’s show how big our Kootenay motorcycle community is,” the association posted to Facebook. “All bikes welcome.”

A hand is $10 or three for $25.

The association also asks for a food donation to any of its stops to help support local food banks.

After Castlegar A&W, the next stop is A&W in Nelson, then Hill Top Esso in Kaslo, Silverton Camp Cafe and finally, Lions Head Pub in Robson.

As well, raffle tickets for the association’s annual toy run fundraiser are now on sale at supporting businesses.
