It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our aunt, Bernice Vaughn Jones, of Nelson, BC.
Bernice passed away September 12, 2019, at age 91. She was born to Ivor and Winifred Jones of South Slocan, BC on April 2, 1928.
Bernice was predeceased by her sister, Gwen Buerge, (August 2018). She is survived by her niece, Susan Buerge of Salmo, BC, her nephew Mark Buerge (Kerry) of Riverview, NB and their families.
We wish to thank the wonderful staff at Nelson Jubilee Manor for the compassionate care Bernice received. As per her wishes, there will not be a service, but donations to the BCSPCA would be gratefully appreciated.
