April 26, 1947 - October 10, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Beverly Overn (Brown) after a short battle with cancer. She passed away on October 10, 2020 in Calgary, AB at the Rockyview General Hospital, at the age of 73.
Bev was born in Rimbey, AB on April 26, 1947 but grew up in Salmo and Nelson BC. Bev loved spending time with her family and friends, especially if there was a game of cards to play.
She was an avid reader and lover of crossword puzzles. She also loved animals and enjoyed spending time at the Calgary Zoo.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter Robin, son-in-law Robert, and granddaughters Samantha and Amanda. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Erlena, brother Bob (Louise), sister Judy, sister Joyce (Ray), brother Fred (Laurie), and sister Carol (Fred), as well as many nieces and nephews and their families.
Bev was predeceased by her father Robert, mother Alice, brother George and brother Ken.
A private family gathering will be held when it is safer for everyone to be together. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Calgary Zoo in Bev's honour.
