It is with deepest sadness and sorrow that the family of Beverly (Bev) Anne Ferguson announce her sudden, but peaceful passing at home on October 10th. Bev is survived by her loving husband, Bruce, three children, Jody, Tracy (Eric) and Cory and her three adored grandchildren, Toscane, Emeric and Taiya. Bev was born in Calgary, moved with her family to Armstrong as a teenager and finally settled in Nelson at the beginning of her grade 12 school year where she met her eventual lifelong partner. Upon graduation, Bev attended college in Vernon where she completed admin courses. Returning to Nelson, she worked at the bank of Montreal, was the book keeper for her husband's family business, worked at the Bank of Commerce and finally in the accounting office at Walmart.
Bev and Bruce were married in 1968, spending 53 years together. Bev and Bruce' s love for family brought them three children which Bev always felt were miracles. She was a devoted mother and was at her best with her grandchildren. Summers brought family road trips and months spent together at the cherished family cabin on the lake. Everything Bev did came from a place of love always putting her family first and willing to helpanyonewhoneededit. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Nelson and District Hospice Society. Bev's family will forever be grateful for the wonderful home support she received during her final days.
A celebration of life will be held in the summer. Bev will be forever missed. Her constant nurturing, contagious laugh and her energy for her loved ones will be remembered; She will always be in our thoughts.
