Jack Krajicek recently passed away in Kootenay Lake Hospital at the age of 87 years. He will be always remembered and deeply missed by his daughter Marianne, as well as by his sister Ludmila Knoppová and brother-in-law Herbert Knopp of Brno, Czech Republic. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Jean in 2013.
Jack lived in many places, and touched many lives. He was a gifted violinist and music teacher (in England and in Edmonton), a great lover of nature, of language and literature, and a courteous, curious and knowledgeable man who showed courage to his last day.
We send a special thank-you to Dr Keith Bridger for his years of past care, and particularly to the staff of KLH’s Third Floor medical team for their exceptional care of Jack in his last days. A visitation will be held at Thompson Funeral Service, 613 Ward Street, Nelson on Tuesday August 30, between 3 and 5 pm. Please join us there for a celebration of his life.
