In loving memory ~

Bruce Ross, 69, of Nelson, BC, died May 16, 2025, surrounded by loved ones at the Kootenay Lake Hospital. He was born on November 8, 1955, to Alfred and Anna Ross in Antigonish, NS.

He had a successful career as a blacksmith in Nova Scotia, having created many beautiful pieces of ironwork which can still be found around the province, today. His love of the mountains later brought him to Alberta and British Columbia to pursue commercial truck driving.

Bruce enjoyed music, dancing, gardening and had a love for animals and nature. He spent many of his final years volunteering and communing at Our Daily Bread, a local soup kitchen. Bruce is survived by his son, Elijah Boucher, daughter, Bronte (Ahmad) Boucher-Anwar and grandson, Raphael Anwar. He also has two brothers, Caulder (Alice) and Doug Ross. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Ross and Anna Ross.
