1939-2021 ~ Caliente died at home surrounded by friends and supporters on Wednesday, January 6, after a pancreatic cancer diagnosis in September. She lived true to her words, working hard to accept her dying and getting ready to reunite with her beloved late husband, David Glass.
She died as she lived, feistily and with moments of love, generosity, and connection to spirit moving her towards the other shore.
She is survived by her two daughters Lesley (Andrew) Layton and Dallas Cosgrove, and grandchildren Matthew, Sarah, Bennett and Sam.
In lieu of flowers she has requested donations to Nelson & District Hospice Society, where she had been a energetic volunteer and overall supporter. Her wishes also include auctioning off all of her many valuable and precious personal goods to benefit hospice.
