In Loving Memory ~
In loving memory, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Claire (Clara). She passed away with family by her side at home at the age of 83, after a brief illness.
She was born in Winnipeg to Fred and Florence Bondaroff and married her husband Bill Bidinoff on April 27, 1963.
Claire was survived by her husband, three children Darlene in Nelson, Marilyn (Jim) in Edmonton, Christine in Nelson, her son-in-law Dave in Nelson, six grandchildren (Jordan, Natasha, Tyler, Tyrone, Julia and Jenna) and 1 great-grandchild (Isabella).
She was predeceased by her daughter Elisabeth in 2007.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Claire. She was a creative and fun person who enjoyed writing and painting, solving puzzles of all kinds, spending time with family, going for walks in nature and feeding the crows on the sun deck. As a teenager, she found it gratifying to volunteer her time as a candy striper and continued to volunteer her time throughout her life.
Our family wishes to send a special thank you to the compassionate healthcare workers, the caring staff at Thompson Funeral Service and our thoughtful family and friends who helped us through this difficult time.
Burial has taken place at the Nelson Memorial Park Cemetery and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
