In Loving Memory ~
Born on March 13, 1991 in Nelson, BC. It is with deep sorrow and much LOVE that we announce the passing of Colton, on November 27th, 2022.
Colton will always be remembered by his father, Norman (Frances), mother, Jacquie (Frank), sisters, Jayne (Dave), Beth, Melissa, and brother Jared, Melissa Raez, his fiance, their children, Jordan and Kashtynn (his little peanut), Auntie Pat (Bill) and family, Auntie Kathy (Vic) and family, and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Colton was predeceased by his grandparents, Geoffrey and Ida Morton, (Gramma that filled his heart every day).
Colton loved golf, playing on the Nelson Junior Golf Circuit and competing in the B.C. Junior Boys Championship. And he loved hockey, playing throughout his junior years. He was a little bullet on the ice, getting goals and looking up at us for our approval. Colton also had a talent for writing and expressing himself with words that were not seen by many.
After graduation, he became a Journeyman Electrician followed by an API 1169 Certified Pipeline Inspector, and finally, a Damage Prevention Inspector for Trans Mountain.
Colton was a loving son and grateful for his family. Colton was always respectful to others and always there with a helping hand. Colton lived life to the max, he worked hard and he played hard. He had an indomitable spirit. He never gave up hope and whenever he stumbled, he would pick himself up and carry on.
He persistently searched for answers and worked hard to be successful, to be a better person, and to travel the right path. Sadly, his life was cut short before he was able to see his dreams through.
We are grateful for the times we had with you, Colton. You will never be forgotten.

A Celebration of Life for Colton will be held at a later date in the summer of 2023.
