It is with great sadness that Maxine and Jim announce the passing of their mother Cora on the afternoon of March 19,2021 at Kootenay Lake District Hospital in Nelson. She passed peacefully with both of us at her side.
Cora was predeceased by her parents Peter and Margaret, her husband Bill, her siblings Mary, Anna, Dick, Jane, Jean and her daughter-in-law Susan.
Cora is survived by her children Maxine (John) and Jim, Grandchildren Jennifer (Les), Jason (Randi), Gillian (David) and her Great grandchildren Colten, Jacob,
Mason, Isaac, Luca, Elias, Lyndon, and Falynn.
Cora's family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr Tuvel, Dr Vanderberg, the Nelson community nurses and give special thanks to the nurses on the 3rd floor and in the infusion clinic for all the loving care and support they provided her over the past few years.
At Cora's request cremation has taken place and there will be no service. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to Kootenay lake Hospital Foundation.
Rest in peace Mamma. You will be in our hearts forever.
