October 3, 1960 - March 8, 2019
The family of David Rossi are sad to share that he passed away on March 8, 2019 at Kootenay Lake Hospital in Nelson with his loving family by his side. David was predeceased by his mother Mary Rossi, and numerous aunts and uncles. He is survived by his father, Gino Rossi and sisters Lena (John), Judy, Nancy (Ron), nieces and nephews: Tyler (Jill) Ayla & Emery, Danielle, Chris, Brayden, Alex and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
David enjoyed spending time with all his family and friends. He had a great sense of humour and was a passionate man with an avid love of sports, which throughout the years included fishing, golfing, skiing, football and hockey.
We would like to thank the medical staff of Foothills hospital in Calgary. We would also like to give special thanks to the medical staff in Nelson - Dr. Sonnichsen, Dr. Kennedy, Dr. Merritt, Dr. McBride and all the nurses and staff of the third floor at Kootenay Lake Hospital for their compassion and care during this very difficult time.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at the Cathedral of Mary Immaculate in Nelson on Friday, March 15th, 2019 at 3 pm. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made in David's honour to the Canadian Cancer Association or the charity of your choice.
