October 15, 1993 - January 1, 2019
It is with terrible sorrow that we announce the loss of Dillon Cross.

Dillon was born in Calgary Oct 15,1993; a very special day that would change all our lives forever. He grew up predominantly in the Slocan Valley where we watched him grow from a sweet & highly precocious toddler, to a wild & crazy teen and finally into the young & brilliant man we all knew and loved.

Dillon's life was somewhat unique in the sense that he was the loving knot that tied three families together.

He is survived by: Mother Molly Moore- Parsons; Father Dennis Cross; Stepfather Inyo Youngreen; Girlfriend and love of his life Hannah McDougall; Granny Selina; Grandpa Phil Moore; Grandparents: Larry & Louise Cross and Emily & Russ Youngreen; Aunties: Megan, Emily, Michelle Bedford, Minka LaFey and Phaedra & Mahonyha his angel Aunties; Uncles: Simon Moore, Darrell Cross and Rick Bedford; and most beloved Dog Thor.

Dillon was cherished, in his many roles, as Son, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin, Grandchild, Boyfriend, Best friend and Friend to so many.

There is so much that could be written, yet it could never encapsulate his wild & adventurous life, his impish, honest & self effacing humour, his profound love for his family (for family meant everything to Dillon) all 3 parts of it, or the dear friends he included in his "Family". Nor could be described his insatiable lust for life in all of its aspects, his bold sense of adventure, or his brilliance & intellect, his beauty or all of the potential he was so excited to explore in the coming future (His eager plans to go back to school & in his words "take steps toward a dependable & happy life").

Dillon ~ It feels like the stars are weeping. The birds in the trees are singing Your song. The wind is telling Your story. The moon is grieving and will forever display the silvery light that used to shine from you. ~ Our wounded hearts may heal, but never shall fade the priceless memories of our moments together, in time. Like precious gems, our hearts so decorated and adorned by you will never cease to love.

All of our Love to you, Dillon, until we meet again...in time...
