Was born on October 9, 1939 in Nelson, BC and passed away peacefully with family by his side in his home in Salmo, BC on December 28, 2017.
George is predeceased by his parents, his brothers Leicester and Albert, his sister Lily and his stepson Christopher Bush.
He is survived by his wife Nora and children; Gilbert (Cathy), Jim (Karen) and Dixie (Victor), his grandchildren; Kenneth, Robert, Shawnaleigh, Kali, Winston, Raymond, Jennifer and Victoria, his brother Bert (Leona), sister Violet (Lawrence), brothers in law David and Doug (Candy) Bush as well as many nieces and nephews.
George loved nothing more than being outdoors. Camping, quading, boating, snowmobiling, fishing or just his daily walk up Sheep Creek with his dogs gave him total happiness.
Cremation has taken place; a Celebration of George's Life will be planned when the weather is warm. Gwen Ziprick of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
