George William Baerg, 88, of Chilliwack, BC, passed away on December 6, 2017, quietly in his sleep.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 1 pm at Henderson's Funeral Home, 45901 Victoria Ave, Chilliwack, BC.
Viewing will be held at 11 am at Henderson's Funeral Home with a Tea to follow the service.
George was born in the Archie Municipality, Manitoba on November 18, 1929. He was a Father, Grandfather, a Great Grandfather and a Friend to many.
George worked as a Land Surveyor for Baerg Land Surveying Ltd for 66 years. He entered into articles on May 1, 1948 and received his commission as a BCLS on April 19, 1952, as well as becoming an ALS in 1977.
He loved to golf. He was a man of many stories' that touched the lives of many over the years. He was a member of the Carmen United Church.
George is survived by his children Ronald Baerg, Nancy Baerg, Christopher Baerg, Daniel Baerg, Melanie Baerg, his grandchildren and his great grandchildren.
George is preceded in death by parents Gerhard and Anna Baerg and his sister Anne Grunau.
