Mom passed away at the New Denver Pavilion with family and friends by her side.
Gladis was predeceased by her husband Bob, her sister Anne, brother Alec and brother-in-law Gordon Pickering. She is survived by her son Jim (Donna) of Victoria, brother-in-law Jerry, nieces Lil Roberts and family, Dale James and family, Lydia (Wilfred) Blain and family, Heather Martin and Leah Hernandez. Also by nephews Donald and Ken Martin, Tracy Pickering, cousin Bruce (Vickie) Pickering and their family.
Thank you to all the staff at Mountain Lake Assisted Living, Kootenay Lake Hospital and New Denver Pavilion for all your care in the last year. Special thanks to Dr McKechnie and friends Dave and Linda Brown.
