Bentley, Gwen Alice passed away peacefully at Mountain Lake Seniors Community on January 14, 2012 at the age of 88.
Gwen was born in Prince Rupert, lived in Victoria and then moved to Nelson where she resided for over 60 years. Gwen worked in the food industry and later spent many hours volunteering at the Salvation Army and IODE.
Predeceased by her son Jan(Jane). Gwen will be sadly missed by her sons Dana (Marta), Mike (Jane), John (Nora), and Jeff (Allana).
Grandchildren Gordon (Leanne), Chad (Mary-Jo), Ryan (Carrie), Christian, Megan, Jenny, and Sara; Eleven great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place, no service at Gwen’s request.
The family would like to extend its gratitude to Dr. Milde and the staff at Mountain Lake for their excellent care.
