With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Heinz in Nelson B.C. Heinz is survived by his partner, Marlen Blen, his son Gary (Linda) Schmidt, and his daughter Bettina (David) Chaluck, and grandchildren, Benjamin, Adam, and Erika Schmidt, Nadine, Dacey, and Matthew Chaluck, and one great-grandchild Éva Schmidt, and brother Theodor (Joanne) Schmidt.
A celebration of life will take place at The Royal Canadian Legion in Nelson at 1 pm on Saturday Jan. 11, 2014. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity close to your heart.
