It is with deep sadness that the family of Helen Williamson, formally of 6 Mile, announce her passing on Nov. 02. Mom was born in 1927 in Glasgow, Scotland and it is there that she met and married her husband John (Ian), and also had her daughter Lesley. In 1957, the family immigrated to Canada and over the following years the family lived in various locations, eventually settling in Nelson, BC.
Helen was predeceased by her husband in 1999. She is survived by her daughter Lesley and son-in law Larry Matheson of Christina Lake, grandsons Shane (Yvonne) and Aaron, great-grandsons Brandon, Braeden and Jordan, great-grand-daughter Sidney and great-great grand daughter Brynley.
Also missing her will be many friends from 6 Mile including wonderful friends, George and Flo Commandeur and Al and Barb Coombs.
