Pat was born August 24, 1935 in Nakusp BC to George and Rose Davison. She moved to Nelson as a child of 9, and then moved to Johnstone Rd in her early 20's where she lived up until the last 8 years of her life.
Pat served actively as a soldier in the Salvation Army for 48 years. She volunteered many hours/years doing secretarial work in the church office, working at the soup kitchen and thrift store, teaching Sunday school, participating in the church bake sales and the annual Christmas Kettle Campaign, as well as playing the piano on Sundays, and so much more.
Outside of church she loved early morning swims in the cold of Kootenay Lake, camping, card games, gardening, travel, crafts, and reading.
Predeceased by her husband Dick (Richard) Anderson, and sisters Ev (Joe) Miller, and Bette (Ray) Clarke. Pat died quietly in her sleep at Castleview Care in Castlegar BC on June 8, 2018 at the age of 83.
Pat is survived by her children Steve (Tina), Shane (Larissa), Deb (Rick), and Jen (Dave), grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Service will be held at the Salvation Army Monday, June 25 at 1:00 pm. Please join us in remembering Pat's life.
