February 21, 2015

John was born in Camrose Alberta on April 27, 1965. He lived briefly in Denver, Colorado and Edmonton, Alberta but spent most of his life in the lower mainland until he settled in Blaine Lake, Saskatchewan in 2012. Before he could walk he was taking his toys apart. He just had to know how things worked. Whether something was mechanical, electronic or computerized he could take it apart and fix it or modify it if required. His job with Westeel was like heaven to John; he was doing what he loved, spending work time with people he greatly respected, and they paid him to boot!

John loved music of many genres; the Beatles, Johnny Cash, ACDC, Metallica and Led Zepplin were just a few of his favorites. He had played the guitar for many years and had recently become interested in keyboards.

John also enjoyed growing things; at his home in Blaine Lake he had developed a huge garden space and had everything meticulously plotted out to monitor which seeds of which type grew best in in which location.

John passed away suddenly on February 21, 2015. His generosity, kindness and patience are greatly missed by his brother and sisters.
