In loving memory ~

Joyce Georgina Harford of Castlegar, BC passed away peacefully on Dec 3, 2023, in the warmth and love of her home, surrounded by her family three weeks shy of her 90th birthday.

Joy was born Dec 28, 1933, at Edmonton General Hospital to parents Edward Arthur Elwyn Srigley and Mercy Daisy Stapley. Joy lived in Edmonton for nine years before moving to Burnaby BC.

Joy and Phil travelled as often as they could and especially enjoyed cruising and heading south in the winter months during their retirement.

Joy moved to Castlegar in 2007 where she continued to travel and proudly volunteered for the Castlegar Hospital Auxiliary at the Treasure Shop and for the Canadian Cancer Society. She spent her last few years enjoying playing cards at the Castlegar Seniors Center and attending events at IRIS and in Genelle.
