Kalli Smith

November 8, 2005 - March 10, 2024

In Loving Memory ~

Kalli Patricia Rose Smith and Bradley John Kooznetsoff from the Slocan Valley, British Columbia passed away on March 10th, 2024.

They leave behind parents, Kevin and Tracey Kooznetsoff, Ryan and Chantal Smith, and siblings Ryan Kooznetsoff, Kayl and Emma Smith. As well as their extended families and a multitude of friends.

Both are graduates from Mount Sentinel Secondary class of 2023. The pair met at the start of their grade 12 year and from that moment on were practically inseparable. Family and friends watched the two fall in love and start to plan the rest of their lives together. Almost everyone they knew would describe them as soulmates.

The pair touched everyone they met, bringing joy and contagious laughter wherever they went. Whether it was having a fire in the middle of the woods or just being bored with friends, they always brought life to the party.

Kalli and Bradley would often be heard cruising around town in Bradley's prized possession, his bright yellow 2003 Mazdaspeed Protegé.

No matter what life decided to throw at them they both kept their heads held high and stuck up for each other and the people around them. As much as this is a time to grieve, we should also remember that they wouldn't want us to just be sad. They would want us to celebrate the great memories and truly how much they inspired and impacted all of our lives.

To Bradley and Kalli, you two will be forever missed and cherished for the beautiful souls you are, your kindness and generosity will live on.

The Families would like to take this time to thank the First Responders, BC Ambulance Service, the RCMP, Dr. Nic Sparrow, Search and Rescue, Western Auto Wreckers & Towing, Castlegar Funeral Home & everyone who came to offer support while we waited.

A joint celebration of life will take place at 3537 Pass Creek Rd.

Crescent Valley B.C. on May 4th at 12pm.
