December 21, 1957 - July 7, 2021
It is with regret that we announce the passing of Katherine Teresa Klovance (December 21st 1957 - July 7th 2021). Despite her disabilities and with the assistance of her family and support workers Kathy lived a full life. She had many skills including sharp observations, needlepoint, puzzles, music and dancing and enjoyed being out in company.
She passed away in the company of her family in Penticton Regional Hospital. She is survived by her mother Bonny Klovance, her siblings Cindy Pearce, Diane Gould (David), Joseph Klovance Jr., Wanda Chalk (Andy) and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father Joe Klovance and her sister Marilyn.
The family thanks her care staff in Penticton and Salmo as well as the medical team at the hospital for their care, support and understanding. There will be a memorial announced at a later date. If she had to leave us now, this was blessedly swift and with superb care. She is hugely missed by many.
