Kenneth George Tattrie, beloved husband of Trudy Tattrie of Calgary, passed away at Chinook Hospice on May 17, 2020 at the age of 79 years.
He was the loving father of Chris (Sharon) Tattrie and Scott (Corrie) Tattrie. He will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jacquelynn, Taylor, Dredon, Danica and nieces Carol, Marietta, Louise and nephew Jim. Ken was predeceased by his brother Everette Tattrie and sisters Daisy Houndle and Jewel Maunula.
Born and raised in Nelson, BC, Ken was the youngest of four. His hobbies included the love for cars, camping, Jaycee's and BMX racing. He had so many fond memories of his time with the Selkirk car club.
Jaycee's was a big part of his life while living in Nelson, including being honoured with the Senator title. Ken spent many hours with the BMX community (including being President), while supporting his son Scott in his amateur and professional BMX goals. Ken shared his love for old cars (including Hot Wheels) with his children and grandchildren. Many wonderful memories were made at His and Trudy's trailer just outside of Calgary. It was their special oasis.
No funeral services are planned due to COVID-19. A small family gathering will be planned.
