Laura "Lynn" Adams

After a courageous struggle Lynn passed away days before her 71st birthday on Sunday, September 30, 2018 with family by her side in the Nelson Kootenay Lake Hospital. Lynn is now at rest alongside her beloved son Blake who passed away in 2003. She was a devoted wife to Bob Adams and loving mother to Jen. She was also a proud Grandma (Bada) to Jen's children Jaimie & Jessie and Blake's children Sophie and Mackenzi. She also has one great granddaughter Blake who was named after her late great uncle.

Fondly remembered by her siblings Jim (Shirley) Wilkins & Dianne (Skip) Krake and many nieces and nephews. Lynn will be sadly missed by her many family and friends.

Her love of family and strength will be missed. Bob and Lynn raised their children in Nelson and grew a strong relationship to this town and people during the 40 years they resided here.

Lynn married Bob at 18 on a Saturday in North Battleford and they celebrated 52 years of marriage this past August. Since living in Nelson, she was an active member in the Nelson community. She volunteered for many organizations such as the Library Committee, Nelson Izu-Shi Friendship Society, and the Community First Health Co-op Board.

Cremation has occurred, and a celebration of life will be held on Wednesday October 17, 2018 at the Hume Hotel at 3 pm. This date was selected by Bob as it was Lynn's birthday.
