LEATHA T. BEALBY May 13, 1915-April 9, 2010 Predeceased by her husband Leslie, oldest son Bob, all her 5 brothers and 5 sisters. Survived by sons Alan, Eric (Barbara) of Kelowna, daughter Margaret (Roy) Teramura and family Dennis, Sharon (Glen) Downey and family Trevor, Glenda, Delenn, and Glenford all of Winfield, also granddaughter Cheryl York and family Tyson and Ashley of Bonanza, Alta. Leatha was born in Govan, Sask., moving to Nelson in the 1930?s where she met and married Leslie in 1937. They lived and raised their family there, moving to Winfield briefly in 1957 and returning to Nelson 3 years later. Following Leslie?s death she moved back to the Kelowna area to be near family, first to Kelowna and then to Lake country. She resided in Lake Country Manor and then the Lodge for the past 8 years. The Family wishes to thank the staff for the care and kindness shown to Mom while there. Cremation and no service by her request. The family will hold a private memorial at a later date.
