Linda Kempston (Kem) Morrison

September 25, 2016

MorrisonLinda

Kem found peace on September 25th, 2016. Kem was the youngest of two children of Dr. Eddy Morrison and his wife Vera. She was predeceased by both her parents and her brother Neil. Kem is survived by her nieces Heather and Jasmine and her nephew Neil, as well as several cousins of the Morrison and Kempston clan.

Kem completed her schooling in Nelson and spent two years at Crofton House School for girls in Vancouver. She had riding privileges at Southlands Riding Academy and enjoyed many weekends there learning to ride and developing a love for horses. She maintained an affection for animals throughout her life and in recent years was kept company by her miniature collies, Pepper and Tyme.

Kem spent many hours knitting and crocheting sweaters and afghans for her friends and family and we will always treasure the skill and love she wove into those gifts.

Grateful thanks to all of the friends, emergency services responders and doctors and nurses who helped Kem negotiate the final years of her life. Her tempestuous responses to life and life’s difficulties will probably warm their hearts for years to come.

Goodbye Kem. Travel the next road in peace. There’s a little dog waiting for you on the next cloud. Call to him QUIETLY.
