In loving memory ~

A new star is in the night sky, as Lois Mary Morrison gained her Angel wings on February 8, 2025.

On a gloomy Saturday at Kootenay Lake Hospital, in Nelson, British Columbia, Lois stepped across the threshold from this terrestrial world to heaven. She shed the pain and disease that had been ravishing her body for more than the past year and is finally eased from the wretchedness of cancer.

Our hearts break, as we have lost her physical presence, and our lives are forever changed. As we adjust to our new reality without her, we embrace the fact that Lois will always be in our hearts and our minds forever.

Please look up at the next clear sky and see if you can find the newest bright star, as Lois shines down on our world. Celebrate with others the joy of having Lois is your life and having enriched it as she passed through it. Perhaps you will even hear some of the beautiful music that she shared with the world.

Lois's beautiful soul will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband Bruce, children Kurt (Liz) and Stephanie (Ben), grandchildren Emily, Bridget, Cameron and Matilde, siblings Jim (Eleanor) Pittman, Elizabeth (Larry) Beyko, Teresa (Ian: deceased) Craig, Francis Pittman, Morris (Joyce) Pittman, Pierre (Elnora) Pittman, Joanne (Darryl) Zachary and Carolyn (Tim) Scott, as well as many other family members and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Victor and Jean as well as her sister Eleanor.

A funeral service will be held at the Cathedral of Mary Immaculate, 813 Ward Street, Nelson BC, on Saturday, May 24th at 11:00 a.m.
